Waiver for Tampa Pig Jig
Volunteers must be at least 15 years of age. Any volunteer under 18 years of age must have parental permission and an official Tampa Pig Jig (TPJ) waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.
For good and valuable consideration, including participant (Participant) being permitted to participate in Tampa Pig Jig (Event) to be held October 17, 2026 at Julian B Lane Park in Tampa, FL. Participant, for myself, and my successors, heirs, assigns, executors, administrators, legal representatives, employees, agents and affiliates (and in the case of a corporation, also it officers, directors, and shareholders) (collectively referred to as Participant), forever release and discharge Tampa Pig Jig, HopeWill Foundation, and each of its officers, directors, employees, agents and affiliates (collectively referred to as TPJ) from all claims, demands, losses, costs, expenses, suits, damages, obligations, liabilities, causes of action and judgments whatsoever, in law or in equity, which against any of the foregoing, any or all of Participant ever had, now has or which they hereinafter can, shall or may have for, upon or by reason of any matter, cause or thing whatsoever arising out of Participant's involvement in the Event. Participant agrees to and does hereby assume any and all risks of personal injuries to Participant, including death, and damages to Participant's property, caused by or arising out of Participant's involvement in the Event. Participant hereby agrees to defend, indemnify and hold SunFest harmless from and against any claim, demand, suit, loss, causes of action, damages, liabilities, obligations, costs, expenses, and judgments (including without limitation, death, and damages to property) caused by Participant's acts or omissions and arising out of Participant's involvement in the Event.
Volunteer assumes all risks, hazards, and dangers occurring before, during, or after the event, including injury by any cause, or arising from or relating in any way to the risk of contracting a communicable disease or illness (including exposure to bacteria, virus, or other pathogen capable of causing a communicable disease or illness), however, caused or contracted, and hereby waives all claims and potential claims against TPJ and each of their respective representatives, affiliates and personnel.
THE PARTICIPANT (AND PARENT/GUARDIAN, IF APPLICABLE) HAS READ AND UNDERSTANDS THE FOREGOING RELEASE AND INDEMNIFICATION.
